The Permitting and Evaluation Section of the Driver, Carrier and Vehicle Safety Branch is seeking a Permit Analyst to support the delivery of TEC’s Permit Program to the transportation industry. As a Permit Analyst, you will work directly with clients on permit related inquiries and analyze applications for a wide range of weight, dimension, licensing, and exemption permits. Responsibilities also include authorization and payment processing. You will provide guidance to industry and the public on commercial transport regulations and permit policies. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and proficiency with computer systems are essential. Knowledge of the trucking industry and permitting processes is an asset.
