About The Position
The Permanent Substitute Teacher assumes responsibility for a class and performs all the tasks of the absent teacher, such as keeping students in order, conducting quizzes, and sharing homework assignments. Success in this role will be demonstrated by providing students with guidance, maintaining the safety and well-being of students, assisting with instruction, and maintaining a positive classroom climate in the absence of the full-time teacher.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, compassion, consistency, and adaptability
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Previous experience working with children
