About The Position

At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Patient Assistants promote a culture of caring, empathy, and safety to ensure every patient’s needs are met. The Perioperative Patient Care Assistant works in the Operating Room and provides and maintains a safe, neat, and clean patient environment. The role ensures the maintenance of supplies, equipment, and patient care in accordance with established procedures. As a member of the nursing team, the assistant participates in patient care activities under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
