About The Position
Under the direction of a registered nurse, the Perioperative Orderly provides support to nursing staff and assists in delivering patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification as a Healthcare Provider, or equivalent certification through the Military Training Network (MTN).
Nice To Haves
- Patient care experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Transports patients.
- Performs basic patient care duties.
- Provides general unit support, including cleaning rooms, running errands, and stocking supplies.
- Assists with basic desk duties, including answering phones and entering orders.
- Performs other related responsibilities as necessary.
