Perioperative Assistant

About The Position
The Perioperative Assistant provides basic pre-operative patient care and assists in the assigned perioperative area. The role includes post-operative collaboration to maintain a clean environment and requires understanding the basic principles of asepsis. The assistant completes assigned daily tasks. The position is based in a perioperative department with 10 new, state-of-the-art operating rooms supporting general surgery, colorectal, breast and plastic surgery reconstruction, urology, robotics, and neurosurgery cases.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for the duration of employment.

- Previous experience in a health care field.
