About The Position

Provides support services for perioperative patients, including supporting safe and efficient patient-care flow and cleaning and disinfecting surgical surfaces, equipment, and positioning devices. Sets up and stores required equipment, restocks linens and supplies, assists with patient transportation and preparation as needed, transports blood products and specimens, and supports the Perioperative team. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or satisfactory completion of the UCHealth-administered basic competency test in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. BLS must be through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, with the card in hand before the start date and valid through 60 days of hire. Renewals must be issued by the American Heart Association.
Ability to use critical thinking and decisive judgment and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
No minimum experience required.
