About The Position

Lynch Consultants is seeking a Performance Metrics Analyst to support the Department of the Navy (DON). The role monitors, analyzes, coordinates, and presents program metrics to senior DON executives. The analyst will assess Budget Submitting Office (BSO) performance using authoritative data, produce executive-level reporting, investigate performance trends and anomalies, and coordinate remediation with stakeholders. The full-time position is based in the National Capital Region and requires the ability to support the client remotely and in person at the Pentagon as needed. Salary is up to $84,000, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
Active Secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship.
Strong understanding of DoD financial operations.
At least 3 years of professional program management experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and report BSO performance using authoritative data sources to extract, validate, and reconcile metric data.
Develop and maintain accurate, timely performance reports and executive-level briefings for GS-15 and Senior Executive Service leadership.
Identify overperforming and underperforming entities, investigate anomalous data, analyze performance trends, and conduct root-cause analyses.
Coordinate with BSOs and command-level stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting, resolve discrepancies, and address performance deficiencies.
Track, monitor, and report remediation plans for underperforming entities, including corrective actions, milestones, and progress updates.
Apply critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and support senior leadership decision-making.
