Requirements

  • 5+ years in paid media, with meaningful time at a high-growth DTC or e-commerce brand.
  • Deep, current fluency in Google, Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok
  • Proven track record managing external agency partners, including the ability to challenge recommendations with your own point of view.
  • Experience running paid media across multiple regions, with a feel for how performance dynamics differ by market
  • A genuine, demonstrable habit of using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar) to make your work faster and sharper, not just awareness that they exist.

Responsibilities

  • Own core performance marketing channels (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit) for North America and Australia markets
  • Partner with our external media agency to pressure-test recommendations, approve channel strategies, and ensure we are meeting performance targets.
  • Define the targeting, placement, and content strategy for each major campaign, launch, and promotional moment across your channels.
  • Use advanced measurement tools, predictive modeling, and scenario planning to inform budget allocation.
  • Partner with our Performance Creative Strategist to ensure impactful platform-specific creative is briefed into production.
  • Develop testing roadmap in partnership with broader global media team, agency teams, and platform partners
  • Set tactic-level KPIs and build actionable reporting for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Translate campaign and business objectives into actionable media briefs for the agency.
  • Stay ahead of platform changes (e.g., privacy updates, AI bidding shifts) and work with the agency to pivot strategies accordingly.
  • Use AI-powered tools to continuously analyze performance data, surface insights, and make faster, better-informed optimization decisions across all channels
