About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Manager – Performance Marketing will lead the development and execution of GreenShield’s performance marketing strategy. This role translates business objectives into actionable media & growth plans, manages multi-million-dollar budgets, and drives measurable acquisition, retention and brand growth outcomes across digital channels. The successful candidate will combine strategic acumen, advanced analytics, and leadership capabilities to optimize media efficiency and deliver sustainable growth. This role requires deep experience with digital media planning, execution and measurement, as well as the ability to translate business goals into actionable media plans.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in performance marketing.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale paid media budgets and achieving aggressive performance targets.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including modeling, forecasting, and incrementality testing.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate CAC, LTV, and payback periods into business impact and investment decisions.
  • Hands on expertise managing media buying platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager), analytics tools (GA4, Looker Studio), and tag management systems.
  • University degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to balance scale, efficiency, and risk in decision-making.
  • Skilled in vendor and partner leadership, including negotiation and governance.
  • Ability to simplify complexity and synthesize multi-source data into clear recommendations.
  • Curious and proactive. Actively looks to understand programs and results. Asks questions, and anticipates questions from business partners and leaders.
  • Demonstrates agility and urgency in decision-making, with the ability to pivot strategies and update plans quickly in response to market signals and emerging opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional growth & media planning with Line of Business, Product, Analytics, Brand, and MarTech teams to translate business objectives into a performance marketing roadmap.
  • Set multi-quarter growth strategies, establish investment frameworks, and allocate $1M–$5M+ budgets across channels.
  • Own budget forecasts and cost-efficiency targets across campaigns and platforms.
  • Define key KPIs and attribution considerations. Build optimization agenda and advanced measurement approaches, including experimentation roadmaps, attribution methodologies, and data requirements.
  • Identify platform opportunities (automation, creative systems, audience architecture) to unlock step-change performance.
  • Analyze channel performance and funnel metrics to inform channel investment decisions, identify growth opportunities and improve media efficiency.
  • Plan, implement & optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic DSPs to meet performance goals (CPA, ROAS, LTV).
  • Develop and execute test-and-learn frameworks to improve conversion rates, audience targeting, messaging, and creative performance.
  • Continuously monitor performance signals and market trends to adjust strategies and investment allocations rapidly, ensuring responsiveness to changing conditions.
  • Manage multiple suppliers in an agile environment, including selection, evaluation, and performance management of media, data, and technology partners.
  • Maintain expertise on industry trends and implement best practices to ensure competitiveness.
