Requirements

  • Relationship builder with high EQ and collaboration skills.
  • Motivating health coach with exceptional clinical knowledge in health and wellness, particularly in supplementation, nutrition, and exercise consultations.
  • Self-starter mentality with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.

  • Possess judgment, strong work ethic, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Understanding of basic math functions (division, multiplication, percentages).
  • Punctual attendance and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise Science, Physiology, Biochemistry, Health Science, Kinesiology or related field or equivalent experience.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification.
  • At least five years of health-related teaching or coaching experience as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Coach, or Nutrition Counselor.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive patient information and proprietary information.
  • Passionate about longevity, healthy aging, healthcare, and committed to personal self-care, healthy lifestyle, and personal growth.
  • Must be professional, neat, and well-groomed in appearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare best practices.
  • American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certification.
  • 2+ years of client and/or patient facing sales/retail or service industry experience, with demonstrated responsibilities within administrative or operational support roles.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for patients, ensuring an exceptional 5-star experience.
  • Educate members on proper nutrition and exercise regimens based on individual health and lifestyle assessments, laboratory findings, and diagnostic studies.
  • Complete initial consultations with patients.
  • Revise patient intake forms to create custom dietary and exercise regimens.
  • Manage patient interactions via health coach application, SMS messaging, and video conferencing for consultations and support.
  • Track and schedule consultations for follow-up appointments.
  • Meet with Center physicians, PHCs, and patients.
  • Answer phones, emails, and texts.
  • Order patient lunches.
  • Assist in the closing-out of consultations to deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Serve as a clinical liaison between physicians and patients for comprehensive healthcare memberships.
  • Upsell services and products to increase member acquisition and retain the current patient base.
  • Process patient requests and maintain files in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Prepare summary sheets of lifestyle recommendations based on health and lifestyle questionnaires and labs.
  • Educate members on the importance of nutraceuticals and recommend supplementation.
  • Assess current eating habits and educate members on proper nutrition.
  • Conduct fitness assessments including body composition, cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, balance/posture, and core strength.
  • Educate members on the importance of weight training, cardiovascular activities, flexibility, and balance, and design/refine their current programs.
  • Maintain patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state and federal statutes.
  • Complete program close/conversion processes and any necessary changes per the center physician.
  • Receive and process all orders from patients (prescription, OTCs, nutraceuticals).
  • Maintain the center team's calendar appointments.
  • Perform office maintenance and coordination, including arranging repairs, managing deliveries, ordering supplies, and ensuring the office is presentable.
  • Track consultations and follow up when there is no response.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and answering phones.
  • Schedule lab reviews and patient follow-ups virtually and/or in-person.
  • Educate patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions, and answering questions in conjunction with the physician.
  • Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.
  • Enhance Center reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value.
  • Handle medications, including counting, recording doses, and explaining how to take them.
  • Ensure assigned center exceeds sales targets, with responsibility for direct oversight and selling/education.
  • Optimize in-store merchandising and brand presentation.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and elevate issues to leadership.
  • Meet regularly with leadership for center business review meetings and strategic planning for sales/retail objectives.
  • Perform any other assigned administrative duties as required.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
