Performance Creative Strategist / Graphic, Video & AI Designer

About The Position

We're hiring a Performance Creative Strategist / Graphic, Video & AI Designer who can produce a high volume of winning ad creative, fast. This is a performance marketing role, not a traditional design or social media job. You'll own the creative engine behind our paid acquisition across multiple products. That means coming up with the angles and building the ads yourself: statics, video, UGC-style edits, and variations. You'll use AI and modern creative tools to ship a lot of work each week without losing the strategy behind it. This is a senior level position. We are looking for experience and performance.

Requirements

  • A portfolio of performance creative work (required, see How to Apply)
  • Proven ability to produce high volumes of ad creative on tight timelines
  • Hands-on skill with AI image, video, and copy tools, plus the judgment to know when the output is actually good
  • Experience in DTC health, wellness, telehealth, supplements, beauty, nutra, or a similar direct-response category
  • Experience with concepts that have spent $100K+/month
  • A track record of ads that drove actual paid acquisition, not just attractive content
  • A strong understanding of Meta buying and how creative volume and diversity affect scaling
  • Strong copywriting instincts and excellent visual design skills
  • Experience turning customer research, reviews, competitor ads, and offer insights into winning concepts
  • The ability to run a creative pod without constant founder hand-holding
  • Self-motivation: you find opportunities and act on them without waiting for direction
  • You are a master of Meta, Tiktok, Youtube, Reddit, Native AD creation and strategy
  • Meta creative strategy and awareness levels
  • Hooks, leads, mechanisms, and belief shifts
  • UGC, statics, VSLs, advertorials, PDPs, and presells
  • How to break down winning ads and find the pattern underneath
  • How to read performance data, spot winners, and iterate quickly
  • How to brief editors and designers when a project needs more hands
  • Do not apply if: You don't have a portfolio of performance creative
  • Do not apply if: You can plan strategy but can't produce creative yourself
  • Do not apply if: You need days to deliver a single ad
  • Do not apply if: You only manage campaigns but don't understand creative strategy
  • Do not apply if: You need the CMO to tell you every angle
  • Do not apply if: You've never worked within a real paid-social feedback loop
  • Do not apply if: Your experience is primarily organic/social content
  • Do not apply if: You're primarily a brand designer without direct-response experience
  • Do not apply if: You're an agency trying to sell services
  • Do not apply if: You need hand holding: At Direct Meds - You get creative freedom. You produce results.
  • A reliable personal laptop or desktop computer.
  • High-speed internet connection.
