About The Position
Animal Samaritans, a leading animal welfare organization serving the entire Coachella Valley and greater Palm Springs area, is expanding its team and seeking dedicated Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT) and Veterinary Assistants for flexible, per diem (per day) employment opportunities. For nearly 50 years, Animal Samaritans has been a compassionate force, providing vital services ranging from animal rescue and adoption to affordable veterinary care and humane education. Our medical facilities are a cornerstone of our mission, and we need passionate professionals to help us continue making a difference in the lives of animals and their families.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVT): Must be licensed in the State of California.
- Veterinary Assistants: Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide veterinary care in various clinical environments including urgent care, high volume Spay/Neuter, oncology, internal medicine, cardiology, and general practice.
- Work flexible 8 to 10-hour shifts available 7 days a week.
