About The Position

ImageCare Radiology is seeking an experienced Per Diem Ultrasound Technologist for our Sparta location. We offer a wide range of diagnostic imaging services across 20+ locations in Northern and Central New Jersey, focusing on affordable, high-quality, patient-focused care. New hires must attend a first-day orientation at our Mount Olive office. This role involves performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies, working closely with radiologists to gather medical images, and ensuring an efficient and patient-focused experience. The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, compassionate, and experienced in producing quality images for proper treatment and diagnosis.

Requirements

At least 1-2 years' experience with strong breast/general skills.
At least one year working at a hospital experience or working independently is preferred.
Basic vascular knowledge (venous doppler and carotids) and breast ultrasound experience is a plus.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer License (Required)
BLS Certification (Required)
Medical specialties: Sonography
All new hires are required to attend first-day orientation at our Mount Olive office before reporting to their assigned work location or training site.
Must be vaccinated with the yearly flu shot and MMR.

Responsibilities

Performing quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Working with the entire staff to perform quality ultrasound scans and biopsies.
Working closely with the radiologists to gather medical images.
Ensuring an efficient and patient-focused experience during their procedure.
Performing ALL Ultrasound exams including: General Ultrasound and Ob/Gyn, Vascular, Breast Ultrasound.
