Support the Information Services Division. Salary is based on education and experience. This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK. Position Summary The PeopleSoft Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining technical solutions within the State of Oklahoma’s enterprise PeopleSoft environments. This role partners closely with OMES Functional Teams, Business Analysts, and state agency users to deliver high‑quality enhancements, integrations, and system support across PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management. The position requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem‑solving, and the ability to collaborate across multi‑agency environments. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft development and PeopleTools and should support PeopleSoft upgrades, integrations, production issues, performance tuning, and technical projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience
  • Experience with Development Tools such as Application Designer, Application Engine, Application Packages, File Layouts, PeopleCode, Webservices, Integration Broker, Component Interface / Excel to CI
  • Proficiency with Reporting Tools like SQR, XML Publisher, Crystal Reports and PS/Query. Also, expertise in configuring Work Center panels, Fluid Tiles to make application user friendly.
  • Experience in PeopleSoft FSCM Modules – Account Payables, Account Receivables, Billing, eBill, ePro, eSupplier, PO, Travel & Expense, Inventory, General Ledger, Project Costing
  • Good knowledge in configuration of PeopleSoft Financial modules. PeopleSoft installations, Patches & Bundles, 1099 tax upgrades using PUM
  • Experience working with government or public sector financial systems.
  • Familiarity with OMES policies, statewide financial processes, and Oracle Cloud/Workday integrations.
  • Experience with PTF, DPK, or automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Oklahoma state agency users, OMES Functional Teams, and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and provide design solutions for new enhancements.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and agency users to troubleshoot issues raised during testing phases, upgrades, and patch cycles.
  • Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft customizations using PeopleTools
  • Provide extensive support for financial applications and troubleshoot both technical and functional issues.
  • Execute CEMLIs to address data fixes through SQL and support project migrations using PCM tools across environments.
  • Monitor critical nightly batch jobs, service performance, and user‑scheduled jobs to proactively alert stakeholders of abnormalities.
  • Troubleshoot scheduled batch failures and implement long‑term preventative solutions.
  • Coordinate with the Batch Monitoring team to provide instructions for HOLD/Release of jobs during maintenance windows and proactively provide status updates to leadership.
  • Coordinate with Oracle Corp and OMES teams to support application maintenance activities.
  • Notify leads and stakeholders regarding pre‑ and post‑maintenance tasks such as: OS and security patching, Application‑related Oracle patches, Certificate updates, Server and infrastructure maintenance, Vulnerability patching, Application rolling bounces
  • Create and maintain Pulse calendar entries in My Oracle Support for quarterly maintenance activities, ensuring no conflicts with operational timelines.
  • Track Go‑Live timelines and project migrations to avoid conflicts with deliverables.
  • Approve and oversee migration activities through PCM, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Secure approvals and assist users in obtaining backend SQL Developer or database access; coordinate with Oracle to provision DB access when required.
  • Maintain strong incident tracking in ServiceNow; propose improvements to enhance application usability and efficiency while meeting SLA requirements.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management and Workday support teams to resolve vendor synchronization issues and initiate required interface triggers in Workday.
  • Provide daily updates in stand‑up calls and maintain effort tracking in Azure DevOps.
  • Conduct sprint planning meetings, propose upcoming project work, and assist in effort estimation.
  • Maintain project documentation and approvals on SharePoint, ensuring appropriate access restrictions.
