About The Position

The PeopleSoft Developer provides Tier 3 technical support for complex system issues that Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams cannot resolve. The role involves developing an understanding of the system’s architecture, codebase, integrations, and common failure points; investigating root causes; developing and testing fixes; documenting findings; and verifying that resolutions are effective. The developer is expected to close at least five tickets per week and maintain thorough ticket notes to support future reference and shared team knowledge. The position collaborates with functional and technical team members, particularly the Tier 3 Incident Manager and other Tier 3 Developers. The developer keeps the Incident Manager informed about high-priority issues and assigned tickets, and coordinates documentation and sharing of code-change recommendations in Jira with the relevant Scrum Team. The role also includes reviewing documentation, supporting fellow Tier 3 Developers, and guiding Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to help prevent future escalations.
