About The Position

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Integration Developer to design, build, and operate enterprise integrations connecting PeopleSoft applications to internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms. The role focuses on the integration layer, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling. The developer will apply hands-on Integration Broker experience alongside broader PeopleTools knowledge and understanding of API and integration design patterns.

The role works closely with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions. The developer is expected to contribute through code and design reviews and mentorship of more junior engineers, while communicating clearly and delivering production-ready work. Responsibilities also include supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft development experience, with a strong focus on Integration Broker.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Solid PeopleCode and Application Engine experience.
• Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON.
• Experience with web service security standards, including WS-Security and OAuth2.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
• Strong engineering discipline and ability to deliver production-ready work.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with middleware platforms such as OIC, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
• PeopleSoft certifications.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Exposure to event-driven integration patterns.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling for PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of API management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise integrations between PeopleSoft applications and internal systems, cloud applications, and third-party platforms.
• Work with PeopleSoft Integration Broker components, including service operations, queues, routings, transformations, security configurations, and error handling.
• Design and develop REST and SOAP web services in PeopleSoft.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.
• Support PeopleSoft upgrades and patches.
• Troubleshoot integration and application issues and maintain clear communication and documentation.
