People Strategy & Programs Lead

About The Position

This role reports directly to the VP of People and owns the highest-priority initiatives across the People organization. It sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and execution, driving work that directly impacts talent density, organizational performance, and how the company scales. You’ll operate as an embedded operator with full context and real accountability. You are not coordinating work or making recommendations from the sidelines. You are defining problems, building solutions, and driving them through to execution. If you’re coming from consulting or a strategy role, this is the shift from advising to owning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or a high-execution role in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data fluency with the ability to work directly with data, build models, and translate insights into decisions
  • Proven program management skills, with experience driving complex, cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
  • An AI-native approach to work, with practical experience applying AI tools to improve output and speed
  • A business-first mindset with a focus on performance, efficiency, and talent quality
  • Exceptional written communication skills, especially for executive audiences
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels without losing momentum

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with People Systems (HRIS i.e. Workday, ATS i.e. GreeHouse) and how they function and report data
  • Experience building or scaling AI-enabled workflows in recruiting or People Operations
  • Exposure to executive or board-level reporting
  • MBA or other advanced degree

Responsibilities

  • Own high-priority, cross-functional People initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through execution
  • Build the analytical foundation for the People team, including data models, dashboards, and exec-level reporting
  • Partner directly with the VP of People and the People Leadership Team, on strategy, planning, and execution
  • Identify gaps across People Systems, Recruiting, and People Operations, and drive solutions to close them
  • Help shape recruiting strategy and build more efficient, AI-augmented workflows across the function
  • Act as a connective layer across HR, Recruiting, and People Operations to keep critical work moving
