About The Position

This role acts as an internal consultant, analyzing and recommending solutions for employee human resources issues related to various HR programs and policies such as Benefits, Payroll, Learning and Development, and Talent Acquisition/Management. The position involves performing intermediate and interpretive analysis for payroll, benefits, and employment processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing, audits, and compliance with state/federal requirements. It also requires identifying areas needing specialized information or policy interpretation for escalation, while maintaining awareness of and adherence to client/employee Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Additionally, the role supports the People Resources strategy through special projects and assists in developing and recommending process improvements across all human resource functional areas.

Requirements

  • Experience working with automated multi-state, employment processing (payroll, benefits, on-boarding).
  • Strong verbal and written client services skills.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Strong PC skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office application specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently and in a team environment with ability to collaborate and effectively work across functional teams.
  • High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years related Human Resources (employment, benefits and/or payroll) experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources (or equivalent in education and experience).

Responsibilities

  • Acts as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending intermediate to advanced solutions to employee human resources issues relating to various HR programs and policies, including but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management, etc.
  • Performs intermediate and interpretive analysis - research related to payroll, benefits, and employment processing. Responsible for timely and accurate processing, audits, and related processes for our internal clients, external benefit carriers, and state/federal compliance requirements.
  • Identifies areas requiring specialized, advanced information, or policy interpretation and escalate to People Solutions Manager while maintaining a high-level of awareness of client/employee Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and executes to meet requirements.
  • Takes on special projects as assigned in support of the People Resources strategy. Assists with developing, coordinating, and recommending changes for the improvement of process workflow across human resource programs, including all functional areas (but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition/Talent Management, etc.).
