About The Position

Agility’s commercially deployed humanoids operate alongside teams in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers—tackling physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enabling workers to focus on higher-value work. With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential. Our People Operations team is growing, and we're looking for a People Operations Specialist to help create a thoughtful, seamless employee experience. In this role, you'll take on the day-to-day of onboarding, HR administration, and company events. This is a great fit for someone who's organized, detail-driven, and genuinely excited to make memorable moments for their coworkers.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in People Operations, or a related role.
  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience administering an HRIS platform, including processing employee data changes and maintaining data integrity.
  • Enthusiasm for onboarding and a creative mindset for helping build and improve programs that are engaging and welcoming.
  • Experience planning team events and creating fun, engaging moments that bring the team together.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple moving pieces.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Google Suite.
  • Authorization to work in the USA.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday.
  • Familiarity with federal and state leave of absence requirements.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup, manufacturing, or robotics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the new hire onboarding experience end-to-end, from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, coordinating logistics across our Fremont, Salem, and Pittsburgh offices and remote team with IT, Facilities, and Recruiting.
  • Keep our onboarding touchpoints, like new hire orientation, first-week schedules and activities, and buddy programs, fresh and exciting, always bringing new creative ideas that make new hires feel welcomed, confident, and excited to be here.
  • Plan and support company events, like offsites, family days, summits, and holiday parties, managing vendors, budgets, timelines, and day-of logistics.
  • Manage day-to-day HRIS administration, processing employee data changes and keeping records accurate and up to date.
  • Support HR systems, documentation, and workflows, always looking for ways to simplify processes and improve the employee experience.
  • Work with other team members on adhoc projects.
