About The Position

Oula is hiring a People Operations Specialist to join its growing People & Culture team. The role keeps people processes running smoothly from signed offer through a new hire’s first months, and owns clinician credentialing from day one. The position is full-time and hybrid, based in Brooklyn, NY. The specialist coordinates onboarding, supports payroll and benefits administration, maintains employee records, responds to employee questions, and helps document and improve processes and support HR systems projects. The role also leads employee recognition and engagement initiatives. For clinician credentialing, the specialist guides providers through document collection and partner verifications, tracks credentialing status and potential start-date risks, follows up with providers and partners, coordinates payer enrollment handoffs, and tracks ongoing provider requirements. Oula provides maternity care and related services through six clinics across three states, with further expansion planned for 2027 and beyond. Its stated values are Excellence, Candor, Humanity, Ownership, Evidence, and Service. Oula offers a competitive total rewards package that includes base salary and comprehensive benefits. Compensation depends on experience, skill level, location, and qualifications.
