About The Position

As a People Operations Manager, you will own and support the day-to-day people operations functions that help our organization scale effectively. This is a highly operational, hands-on role focused on recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee experience, organizational processes, and supporting leadership across people-related initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and excited to help build strong operational foundations in a fast-paced startup environment. While this role will help shape processes and improve how the organization operates, this is currently an individual contributor role focused on execution rather than building or managing a large HR team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years of experience in people operations, recruiting operations, HR coordination, or employee operations roles.
Experience supporting hiring pipelines and coordinating recruiting processes across multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with HR systems, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and employee management platforms.
Experience maintaining organizational processes, employee documentation, and operational workflows.
Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism and discretion with confidential information.
Excellent project coordination and follow-through abilities.
Strong interpersonal skills and a people-first mindset.
Comfortable operating independently and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Process-oriented with the ability to improve and scale operational workflows.
Proactive, dependable, and execution-focused.

Nice To Haves

Experience onboarding employees in fast-paced or startup environments preferred.
Support recruiting efforts by managing candidate pipelines, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining strong candidate communication.
Partner with hiring managers to ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience.
Prepare offer letters, onboarding documentation, and hiring-related communications.
Maintain recruiting trackers, hiring metrics, and interview coordination processes.
Help improve recruiting workflows and hiring operations as the company scales.

Responsibilities

Own onboarding coordination and ensure employees have a smooth and organized onboarding experience.
Coordinate new hire setup including equipment ordering, account provisioning, onboarding schedules, and internal introductions.
Maintain onboarding documentation, training resources, and onboarding checklists.
Help drive employee engagement initiatives, team events, and internal communication efforts.
Support employees throughout their lifecycle with the company.
Coordinate and help manage feedback cycles, performance review processes, and employee check-ins.
Maintain organizational documentation including org charts, employee records, and internal systems.
Help establish scalable people operations processes and best practices.
Ensure consistency and follow-through across internal people-related processes.
Support leadership with scheduling, coordination, and follow-up on people operations initiatives.
Assist with office operations and administrative coordination as needed.
Partner closely with leadership, recruiting, operations, and finance teams on hiring and employee-related initiatives.
Help ensure compliance with internal policies and operational processes.
Support ad hoc operational projects and company initiatives as the organization grows.
