People Operations Coordinator

Team Outsider
$60,000 - $65,000Remote

About The Position

Build the operational engine behind an extraordinary People Team. At Team Outsider, our mission is simple: To be the most hospitable team in the world. Hospitality starts long before a guest checks in. It starts with how we hire, onboard, support, and care for our team. We're looking for someone who loves bringing order to complexity. Someone who gets genuine satisfaction from building systems, improving processes, and making work easier for everyone around them. While this role supports all areas of the People Team, its primary focus is building the operational foundation that allows our team to deliver extraordinary experiences consistently and at scale.

Requirements

  • Love creating systems, workflows, and organization.
  • Naturally spot opportunities to improve how work gets done.
  • Sweat the details and rarely let things fall through the cracks.
  • Can coordinate many moving pieces while keeping people informed.
  • Embrace new technology and use AI thoughtfully to work smarter.
  • Communicate with warmth, responsiveness, and professionalism.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Find fulfillment helping others succeed behind the scenes.
  • Curiosity, ownership, and a desire to leave every process better than you found it.

Nice To Haves

  • You'd rather inherit organized processes than build them.
  • Organization and documentation feel like a chore.
  • You wait to be told what to improve instead of taking initiative.
  • You're uncomfortable learning new technology or experimenting with AI.
  • Details and follow through aren't your strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Build a recruiting engine that attracts more qualified candidates while delivering a responsive, hospitality-driven candidate experience.
  • Grow and maintain a proactive talent community so we're building relationships before positions open.
  • Keep every hiring process organized and moving with clear workback plans, thoughtful communication, and consistent documentation.
  • Ensure onboarding, performance reviews, compliance, and People Operations happen accurately and on time.
  • Build organized, secure, audit-ready People systems that leaders can trust.
  • Continuously improve how we work through AI, automation, and better processes.
