People & Operations Coordinator - Part Time

We Are RosieAtlanta, GA
Remote

About The Position

We Are Rosie is a company that advocates for remote work, inclusion, and flexibility, aiming to transform how large brands assemble their marketing teams and create opportunities for marketers, particularly those historically marginalized. Starting as a small team in Atlanta, We Are Rosie has grown into a community of over 35,000 marketers across North America, focused on addressing brand challenges efficiently without the traditional agency model. The People & Operations Coordinator is a part-time role (20 hours/week) offering essential support to both the People & Culture function and the Rosie Operations team. This position works closely with the Head of People & Culture and the Rosie Operations Lead, managing daily tasks to ensure smooth team operations and support for "Rosies" (the company's network of marketers). This is a mid-level role requiring independent work and sound judgment, focusing on execution rather than strategic leadership. The ideal candidate is adept at both hiring/onboarding processes and drafting employee communications, seamlessly transitioning between detailed administrative tasks and people-focused responsibilities. This role is remote within the United States and reports to the Head of People and Culture.

  • 3–5 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a closely related operations role
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and tools (e.g., BambooHR, JustWorks, Workday, Gusto, ADP, or similar)
  • Strong organizational skills and a track record of managing multiple tasks and deadlines with precision
  • Clear, warm, and professional written communication — you can draft a sensitive employee message and a process doc in the same afternoon
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive, figure-it-out mindset in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • High degree of discretion when handling confidential employee information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mind-set.
  • You align with our core values.
