About The Position

Garner is on a mission to transform the U.S. healthcare system by partnering with employers to redesign how healthcare works. They apply proprietary clinical metrics to a large patient dataset to identify the best-performing doctors and use incentives to guide members to the best care, resulting in better health outcomes and lower costs. This role is crucial in shaping a hybrid work experience that attracts top talent, accelerates onboarding, strengthens culture, and enables employees to do their best work. The position reports to the Head of People and has two direct reports.

Requirements

  • Experience across both startups and mature companies.
  • At least 2 years leading an Employee Experience function.
  • At least 1 year leading a Facilities function.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage a wide variety of both strategic and operational workstreams.
  • Propensity to think in terms of systems, always seeing the full picture and designing for scale.
  • Strong analytical and technical abilities, including proficiency in Google Sheets and Claude Code (or similar).
  • Proven ability to build and lead a high-impact team, setting a high bar for execution and investing in the growth of their people.
  • Deep belief that employee experience should directly enable business performance.
  • A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Design and continuously improve a best-in-class onboarding experience.
  • Build and scale programs that make employees feel valued and motivated.
  • Architect high-quality offsites, events, and social programs to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration.
  • Define and operationalize ways of working for hybrid teams to maximize efficiency and inclusion.
  • Partner to identify organizational gaps and design programs that reinforce a high-performance, feedback-driven culture.
  • Oversee office operations and manage the Office Manager to ensure a seamless, safe, and fulfilling in-office experience.
  • Own vendor selection, relationships, and budgets for Facilities and Employee Experience.
  • Partner with Finance and IT to plan and execute on office expansion needs.
