Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including hands-on recruitment responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Post Graduate Certificate in HR Management or related field.
  • Clear understanding of the HR environment in Texas.
  • Energized by the opportunity of a start-up environment within a large company.
  • Passion for the Employee Experience and resonance with EllisDon Values.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver full recruitment services, including needs analysis, job postings, sourcing, interviews, and employment offers.
  • Act as a business partner to the client group, managing all aspects of the employee life cycle with a focus on EllisDon values and Employee Experience.
  • Support the implementation and management of P&C programs, activities, and annual processes such as Performance Management, Compensation Reviews, Training and Development, Organizational Development, Onboarding, Employee Orientations, and Succession Planning.
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues in compliance with employment legislation.
  • Compile, analyze, and report on P&C metrics to identify trends and strategically support business needs.
