This role is hybrid, requiring time spent in their downtown Toronto office.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in People/HR coordination, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and HRIS platforms (or similar)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting others and building strong relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a SaaS or startup environment
  • Exposure to People & Culture / HR processes (onboarding, benefits, engagement, etc.)
  • Experience coordinating events or internal programs
  • Experience managing equipment or IT inventory

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding and off boarding process, ensuring a seamless and welcoming transition for all new hires and departing team members.
  • Oversee benefits enrolment, maintain accurate employee records within HR systems, and internal HR inquiries.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees on office-related needs and questions.
  • Lead daily office management, including vendor relations, facilities maintenance support, inventory tracking, and ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and organized environment.
  • Assist with planning and executing company-wide events, team lunches, and engagement initiatives that foster a positive culture for both in-office and remote employees.
  • Manage the provisioning, shipping, and tracking of IT equipment and office supplies for a distributed workforce.
  • Partner with the People & Culture team to refine internal workflows and support administrative business operations as needed.
  • Coordinate company meetings and help drive internal messaging to keep the team informed and connected.
  • Support additional People & Culture and administrative initiatives as needed.
