About The Position

Curi Capital is seeking a People Administrative Assistant for their Chicago headquarters. This role is a highly visible, service-driven position that acts as the welcoming face of the office and provides vital support to the People (HR) function. The ideal candidate will have a humble, servant-minded approach, enjoy being relied upon, and understand the importance of discretion, organization, and polish. This role is crucial for maintaining a seamless and welcoming office experience and supporting key HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day People operations, maintaining accurate employee records, HR systems, and documentation with strong attention to detail.
  • Serve as a helpful and responsive resource for employee questions, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding experiences, supporting logistics, communications, and system setup.
  • Assist with recruiting coordination, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
  • Support engagement initiatives, training coordination, and internal programs that strengthen culture and retention.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Greet clients, employees, and visitors, creating a polished and welcoming first impression.
  • Manage calls, inquiries, and communications with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure the office environment is consistently organized, clean, and client-ready, including reception areas, conference rooms, and kitchens.
  • Support meeting and event coordination, ensuring smooth execution and attention to detail.
  • Administer office operations such as supplies, deliveries, vendor coordination, and building relationships.
  • Proactively support teammates with requests and ensure their day-to-day needs are met.
