About The Position

Under the supervision of the Program Manager for CCSEP, the Peer Support Supervisor provides leadership, oversight, and support to a team of four (4) Peer Support Specialist to ensure high-quality, recovery-oriented employment services for program participants. This position is responsible for supervising staff performance, providing regular and operational supervision, ensuring fidelity to the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, and promoting integration with mental health teams. The Supervisor supports a client-centered and service-focused work environment by guiding staff in effective service delivery, reviewing client outcomes, and implementing performance improvement strategies. This position will travel to multiple office locations.

Requirements

  • Completion of a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited university in the field of Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in IPS program and/or case management in behavioral health.
  • Must be Peer Support Specialist Certified (or complete within 6 months of hire).
  • A Valid Driver’s License with current California automobile insurance.
  • A Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certification.
  • A Valid Tuberculosis Blood (TB) test upon hire and must maintain every two (2) to four (4) years depending on the contract requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply information and documents.
  • Ability to exercise problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply new procedures and information.
  • Ability to manage multiple detailed tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, changing priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, patience, and a supportive approach.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and build relationships with multidisciplinary teams, community partners, and behavioral health providers to support coordinated and person-centered care.
  • Communicate in a clear, respectful, and recovery-focused manner, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, cultural humility, and sound judgment.
  • Provide administrative, operational, and management support to the Program Manager as assigned.
  • Assist with data collection, tracking, analysis, and preparation of internal and external reports.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) practices, and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) principles.
