About The Position

We offer a full continuum of care from medical detox to recovery supportive housing with treatment options in the St. Louis area. The intimate settings provided by Sana Lake cultivate an environment that facilitates meaningful recovery and promotes an overall sense of well-being. Sana Lake is expanding rapidly and is seeking a Peer Recovery Coach who is passionate about helping individuals and families recover! As a Peer Recovery Coach, you will emphasize the acquisition, development, and expansion of the rehabilitation skills needed to move forward in substance use or co-occurring recovery. Interventions are built on the unique relationship between the Peer Recovery Coach, the individual served, and his or her family unit.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or GED)
- Self-identify as a present or former primary client of substance use services
- Certified as a Peer Support through the Missouri Credentialing Board
- Valid State of Missouri Class E Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Emphasize the acquisition, development, and expansion of the rehabilitation skills needed to move forward in substance use or co-occurring recovery.
- Build interventions on the unique relationship between the Peer Recovery Coach, the individual served, and his or her family unit.
