Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Teen Engagement, the Peer Leadership Fellows Wellness Cohort Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Peer Wellness Cohort of the Peer Leadership Fellows. This program is a national model for peer-to-peer relational engagement, empowering teens to reduce stigma within the Jewish community and among their peers around mental health and wellness. The Coordinator works in partnership with the Director of Teen Programs and the Assistant Director of Teen Engagement, serving a premiere group of teen leaders selected through a coordinated application process each spring, representing communities throughout Greater Boston. The Coordinator’s responsibilities include facilitation of monthly workshops, working with Fellows in grades 10 through 12, and involvement in strategic decisions for the program as a whole. JCC Greater Boston is deeply committed to valuing and celebrating the uniqueness of each constituent and welcomes staff and participants from diverse backgrounds. While being proudly Jewish, we strive to provide an open and welcoming setting for all, irrespective of personal practices, beliefs, or background. We are guided by JCC Greater Boston’s core values - Belonging, Joyfulness, Collaboration, and Transformation.
