About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking an MD/DO for a Pediatrics position in North Carolina. This is a hospital-based opportunity with a start date of 8/10/2026 and an end date of 9/1/2026, with a potential for extension. The assignment is for 1 month. Credentialing will take approximately 6 weeks. The work schedule is primarily outpatient clinic hours from 0830-1700, with specific days per week outlined for different periods within the assignment. The provider will see an average of 20 patients per day in the office and one admission per day in the hospital, with an average inpatient census of one baby born per day. Procedures include onsite lab, in-house circs, ear irrigation, minor suturing, COVID/sick clinic, POC testing for strep, flu, and RSV, routine well-child exams and vaccines, and COVID vaccines for ages 5-18. The EMR system used is Epic. The provider must have an NC license and will review IMLC. BLS and PALS certifications are required. Board certification (BC) is also required. This role is outpatient clinic only, with no hospital call coverage. The provider will not respond to codes unless in the nursery and is required to attend C-sections when requested by an OB provider. There are no ICU/Critical Care duties or ER backup coverage required. The practice includes 6 exam rooms and onsite lab services, with a team of 1 MD, 1 FNP, and 4 Nurses/MAs.

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree
  • NC License (will review IMLC)
  • BLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • Board Certified (BC)
  • Experience with Epic EMR system

Responsibilities
