About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a hospital facility in North Carolina. This is an opportunity to provide anesthesia services in an inpatient setting, including coverage for Labor and Delivery and occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER. The role involves daily coverage with a team of CRNAs and a Medical Director, with specific responsibilities for epidural placement and management.

Requirements

• NC license (clean and active).
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Experience with epidural placement.
• Comfortable with labor epidurals, spinals/ITN in obese patients, and pediatric patients.
• Ability to administer moderate procedural sedation.
• Ability to respond within 20 minutes when on call.
• Must not respond to codes or serve as backup in the ER.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a hospital setting.
• Perform epidural placement, including labor epidurals.
• Administer spinals/ITN in obese patients.
• Provide care for pediatric patients.
• Administer occasional moderate procedural sedation in the ER.
• Cover Labor and Delivery anesthesia needs.
• Provide after-hours epidural coverage.
• Participate in a call schedule, including weekdays and every 5th weekend.
