About The Position
The Pediatrics Quality Reviewer RN is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of documentation completed by the COC. The reviewer is assigned to a set group of COCs and ensures that OASIS assessments meet CMS regulatory requirements and the conventions for completing OASIS-C described in Chapter 3 of the OASIS-C Guidance Manual. No prior Quality Reviewer experience is required; training will be provided. This is an office position with daytime hours.
Requirements
- NYS RN License.
- Computer literacy.
- Home Care Homebase experience.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with CMS billing regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Home health or community care experience.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of documentation completed by the COC.
- Review OASIS assessments for compliance with CMS regulatory requirements and OASIS-C completion conventions in Chapter 3 of the OASIS-C Guidance Manual.
- Work with an assigned group of COCs.
