About The Position
The Quality Reviewer is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of documentation completed by COCs. The reviewer is assigned to a set group of COCs and primarily ensures that OASIS assessments comply with CMS regulatory requirements and the conventions for completing OASIS-C in Chapter 3 of the OASIS-C Guidance Manual. No prior Quality Reviewer experience is required; training is provided to the right candidate. This is an office position with day hours.
Requirements
- NYS RN License.
- Computer literacy and Home Care Homebase experience.
- Strong clinical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with CMS billing regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
- Home health or community care experience.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
Responsibilities
- Review documentation completed by assigned COCs for accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Ensure OASIS assessments comply with CMS regulatory requirements and OASIS-C completion conventions in Chapter 3 of the OASIS-C Guidance Manual.
