About The Position

ProMedica Physicians Group (PPG) is seeking a Pediatrician in Monroe, MI. This position involves seeing approximately 25 patients per day and includes a schedule of Monday through Friday with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Additionally, there is newborn nursery call, averaging 8-10 weeks per year. PPG focuses on preventive care and patient education across a wide range of medical specialties, helping individuals maintain long-term health and manage complex conditions. Physicians utilize the latest medical knowledge and collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure personalized, effective care at every stage of life. Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution in the applicable specialty.
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) certification(s) applicable to your role (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• Commitment to ongoing continuing medical education (CME) and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to approximately 25 patients per day.
• Work a Monday through Friday schedule.
• Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
• Handle newborn nursery call, averaging 8-10 weeks per year.
• Focus on preventive care and patient education.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
