About The Position

Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a collaborative, patient-centric, Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Physician to join their expanding Pediatrics Team in Capitola, CA. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multi-specialty group within Santa Cruz County, bridging hospital-based acute care and outpatient settings. The group is affiliated with Dominican Hospital, which includes a Level 3 NICU with onsite Neonatologist support. The team currently consists of 6 Physicians and 1 APP, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. The practice emphasizes a "Humankindness" culture and offers a collegial and autonomous work environment with dedicated MA staff for efficient workflow.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in pediatrics
• Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of California
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of pediatric diseases, treatments, and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, parents, and healthcare team members
• Empathy and patience when working with children and their families
• Attention to detail and ability to make accurate diagnoses based on comprehensive evaluations
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine

• Guaranteed annual salary: $275,000 - $285,000, DOE
