Riverside Community Care is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join their Early Childhood Services in Cambridge/Somerville as part of their Early Intervention program. This interdisciplinary team supports families with children aged 0-3 years who have or are at risk for developmental delays or disorders, utilizing a dyadic relationship-based approach. The program emphasizes cultural humility in developing relationships with families and understanding their values, beliefs, priorities, routines, sources of stress, goals, and intervention needs. The overarching goal is to strengthen the mutual enjoyment of daily activities and interactions between children and their caregivers, while addressing specific delays and challenges. Services include parent support, coaching, education, and direct work with children as needed. While considering all domains of development, the SLP focuses on receptive and expressive communication, language, and feeding aspects of the child’s treatment plan. The organization is committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning, offering support through weekly team meetings, monthly discipline-specific meetings, staff meetings, and weekly reflective supervision.
