About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate opening in Netcong, NJ. This role involves providing skilled, one-on-one care for a 4-year-old girl with Cerebral Palsy, Seizure Disorder, Tracheostomy/Ventilator (T/V), GJ Tube, Nebulizer, Chest Vest, Cough Assist, and Suction in the comfort of her home. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a supportive and experienced pediatric clinical team.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Physical completed within the past 12 months
• Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray completed within the past 5 years)
• Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
• Proof of influenza vaccination or an approved medical exemption

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of pediatric experience in home care or acute care
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the client's home
• Monitor the client's health, safety, and overall well-being
• Administer medications and treatments according to the physician's plan of care
• Manage and monitor the patient's tracheostomy/ventilator, GJ tube, nebulizer treatments, chest vest therapy, cough assist, and suctioning as needed
• Accurately document all nursing services provided
• Collaborate with the family and clinical team to deliver exceptional patient care
