About The Position
Per Diem Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) needed for an immediate overnight pediatric case in Wanaque, NJ. This role involves providing dedicated, one-on-one care to a 14-year-old girl, focusing on respiratory support, personal care, and medication administration in her home. The ideal candidate is compassionate, skilled with respiratory equipment like the Trilogy BiPAP, and enjoys providing attentive, supportive care.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical completed within the past 12 months
- Current PPD or QuantiFERON within the past 12 months (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of MMR immunization within the past 10 years
- Proof of influenza vaccination or approved medical exemption
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of pediatric or respiratory experience
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home
- Monitor respiratory status, comfort, and safety throughout the night
- Manage and troubleshoot Trilogy BiPAP and related respiratory equipment
- Provide personal care, hygiene support, and repositioning as needed
- Administer medications according to the physician’s plan of care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the family and interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional care
