About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is expanding its Pediatric Division and is seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for two supportive, family-centered pediatric cases in Wayne and Franklin Lakes, NJ. These roles offer steady hours, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to provide meaningful 1:1 care. The Wayne, NJ case involves 16-hour shifts for a medically complex pediatric patient requiring G-tube feeds, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and wheelchair-bound support, focusing on full-day monitoring and comfort. The Franklin Lakes, NJ case requires support for a pediatric patient needing safe, reliable afternoon care and transportation on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, with transport support until 7 PM, offering a consistent routine with a supportive family.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN or LPN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Physical exam within 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric trach/vent or g-tube experience
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care focused on safety, comfort, and daily needs
• Perform trach care, suctioning, vent monitoring, and g-tube feeding (Wayne case)
• Assist with afternoon routines and safe transportation (Franklin Lakes case)
• Monitor respiratory status, equipment, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with the family and our pediatric clinical leadership team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
