About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a pediatric patient with a tracheostomy and g-tube in Elmwood Park, NJ. This case begins 09/16 and offers steady hours, strong clinical support, and the chance to make a meaningful impact through 1:1 care. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN who enjoys focused pediatric work and wants a supportive team behind them, to use their skills in a case where their presence makes a real difference.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Flu vaccine or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric trach and g-tube experience
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 pediatric care including trach care, suctioning, g-tube feeding, and daily comfort/safety
- Monitor and support the child’s respiratory and nutritional needs
- Partner with family and our pediatric clinical leadership for consistent, high-quality care
