About The Position
Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Flexible Pediatric Home Care (Newark, NJ). Affirmed Home Care is expanding its Pediatric Division and is seeking compassionate, skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support children in Newark, NJ who require dedicated home-care nursing. The role involves providing 1:1 pediatric care, focusing on the child's comfort, safety, and daily needs with compassion, patience, and clinical skill. The LPN will partner with families and the pediatric clinical leadership team to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Multiple pediatric cases are available immediately, offering flexible scheduling options including daytime, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Active New Jersey LPN License
- Current BLS Certification
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Physical exam within 12 months
- PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
- Proof of flu vaccine or approved exemption
Nice To Haves
- 1 year pediatric experience (home care or acute care)
- Valid driver’s license
