About The Position
Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital is seeking a motivated individual to join the growing practice of 5 Physicians and 7 APPs. This position will consist of both inpatient and outpatient work, participation within multidisciplinary clinics and opportunity for teaching and growth. Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is set on providing care, knowledge and education to the patients and families within West Michigan. Make referrals and communicate with other specialty providers to enhance patient care; perform rounds on hospitalized patients; maintain medical and clinical records, reports, and correspondence.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- 3 years of relevant experience
- current, relevant clinical experience
- Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
- LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- LIC-Physician Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days
Nice To Haves
- Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner
