About The Position

Corewell Health Bariatrics offers an excellent full-time opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider. As an important member of the Bariatrics multidisciplinary team, you would be diagnosing and treating medically complex patients. The ideal candidate would be passionate about this patient population. This role involves a mix of outpatient clinic with some inpatient rounding, including minor in-office wound procedures. The primary location is Grand Rapids with travel to Zeeland. Previous inpatient APP experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Master's Degree (for Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant)
• Nurse Practitioners: education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• 3 years of relevant experience (for Nurse Practitioner)
• Current, relevant clinical experience
• Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
• LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan (for Nurse Practitioner)
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
• CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program (for Physician Assistant)
• LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan (for Physician Assistant)
• CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
