Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (PDN) - RN/LPN - 1:1 Ratio
About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring RNs and LPNs for 1:1 pediatric private duty cases in Missouri. This role involves providing focused, skilled nursing care to a single child or young adult in their home environment. The position offers a 1:1 patient ratio, allowing for meaningful, individualized patient care. Multiple cases are available, potentially accommodating various schedules including days, nights, and weekends. Cases vary in acuity and may involve specialized care such as trach, ventilator, or G-tube management. Requirements
- Current and active LPN or RN license
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience
- Home health experience
- Experience working with medically complex children
- Experience with EMR charting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to a pediatric or young adult patient in their home.
- Manage complex care needs, which may include trach/vent management, G-tube feeding, and related monitoring.
- Build a real relationship with one family who will come to know and rely on you.
