About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs in Joplin and surrounding communities for Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (PDN). This role offers a 1:1 patient care ratio, providing a different nursing experience compared to the hospital setting. The position allows for flexible scheduling, including weekdays, weekends, and overnights, offering consistent supplemental income. Nurses can earn premium pay for specific shifts, such as weekday overnights, weekend days, and weekend overnights. Requirements

• Current and active LPN or RN license
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience
• Home health experience
• Experience working with medically complex children
• Experience with EMR charting

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care
• Work with one patient and one family
• Offer meaningful 1:1 care
• Work consistent cases and schedules
• Provide care during weekday overnights, weekend days, or weekend overnights
