About The Position

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (PDN) in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide meaningful 1:1 care to a single patient and their family, trading the demands of a hospital setting for a more focused and consistent nursing experience. The position offers flexible scheduling, including opportunities for weekends and overnights, to supplement existing income. Competitive pay is enhanced with premium rates for specific shifts.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license
• Eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric experience
• Comfort with clinical skills or tools such as trach care, G-tubes, ventilators, or electronic charting

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 patient care to a single pediatric patient.
• Offer meaningful care to one family at a time.
• Work consistent cases and schedules.
• Utilize electronic charting.
