About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring RNs and LPNs for 1:1 pediatric private duty cases in Mount Vernon, Missouri. This role involves working one-on-one with a child or young adult in their home, providing focused, skilled care. Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license
- A genuine interest in pediatric care is essential
- Authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- Experience providing one-on-one care in home or community settings is a plus
- Experience managing complex medical needs with compassion and attention is a plus
- Experience with in-home pediatric clinical skills or equipment such as trach care, ventilators, G-tubes, or seizure management is a plus
- Experience caring for young adult patients is a plus
- Experience partnering closely with families and care teams is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to a pediatric or young adult patient in their home
- Manage complex care needs, which may include trach/vent management, G-tube feeding, and related monitoring
- Build a real relationship with one family who will come to know and rely on you
