About The Position

This position provides pediatric ophthalmology coverage for vacation relief in a hospital and ambulatory clinic setting. The role involves conducting outpatient clinic services on Tuesdays and performing NICU rounds for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screening and evaluation on Wednesdays. The physician will also provide treatment and follow-up care for ROP patients and collaborate with NICU, Neonatology, and Pediatric teams. Documentation of patient care according to facility standards and participation in orientation and compliance activities are also required.

Requirements

  • Active Florida Medical License
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
  • Active DEA
  • Pediatric Ophthalmology Experience Required
  • Certifications: As Required by Facility

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Evaluation and Treatment Preferred

Responsibilities
