About The Position

Children’s Mercy (CM) Kansas City, in partnership with Mercy Health Springfield, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Ophthalmologist to serve their pediatric population at their multispecialty practice in Springfield, Missouri. This is a current opening for a general pediatric ophthalmologist serving a diverse patient population that draws from the third largest city in Missouri. The position offers full access to Children’s Mercy colleagues in Kansas City for professional discussions, consultation, and collaboration. Teleconferencing is available for participation in CMH educational activities and conferences. Physicians are expected to provide quality patient care, effective educational resources, and participate in scholarly and administrative activities while abiding by the ethical principles of the medical profession. Requirements

BC/BE Fellowship Trained Pediatric Ophthalmologist
Other Medical Degree (MD) and Residency/Fellowship
CMH Hospital Priveleges Required
State Medical License Required
BNDD and DEA Certificates Required
BE/BC Required
Must be willing to be vaccinated if found non-immune to measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) and chicken pox (varicella) and/or without evidence of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) vaccination since 2005.
Must be willing to supply immunization records as proof of vaccination.
